Nicosia: Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides announced that his upcoming visit to Lebanon will focus on two ‘important issues,’ which he plans to reveal upon his arrival in the country. This statement was made during his interaction with journalists at a luncheon hosted by Denmark’s Ambassador for EU member state ambassadors in Nicosia, marking the end of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
According to Cyprus News Agency, when questioned whether the visit might involve the ratification of the delimitation agreement between Cyprus and Lebanon or potential announcements regarding energy cooperation, President Christodoulides indicated that the specifics would be shared while he is in Lebanon. He emphasized that he would not disclose any details prior to the visit due to several reasons, including political considerations.
