Nicosia: Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides has received an invitation from U.S. President Donald Trump to participate in the 'Peace Council' for Gaza.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the invitation was confirmed by government sources, who stated that President Trump sent a letter to President Christodoulides, inviting Cyprus to be one of the 25 founding states of the Council.
The 'Peace Council' for Gaza is part of Phase II of Trump's peace plan. It is set to include 25 countries, including those that took part in the Sharm El Sheikh ceremony, which President Christodoulides also attended.
