Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting partly cloudy conditions with isolated showers and thunderstorms over the eastern region. This forecast is valid for the period from 1800 on the 4th of May, 2025, until 1800 on the 5th of May, 2025, and covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards.
According to Cyprus News Agency, a weak low-pressure system is influencing the area, with atmospheric pressure recorded at 1010 hPa at the time of the forecast’s release. The evening is expected to be partly cloudy, with isolated showers and thunderstorms anticipated over the eastern sea area. As the night progresses into the following morning, the weather is expected to be mainly fine, though there will be areas of increased cloud coverage.
The forecast indicates that tomorrow evening will bring a repeat of the evening’s weather, with isolated showers and a low risk of thunderstorms over the eastern sea area. Visibility in the region is generally good but may become moderate during showers. Sea surface temperatures are currently at 19°C, and there are no weather warnings in effect.
