Nicosia: Cyprus Police is actively participating in the “Focus Day” campaign as a member of the European Crime Prevention Network (EUCPN). The initiative focuses on preventing domestic burglaries, particularly emphasizing the summer holiday season when homes are often left unattended.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the campaign’s primary objective is to inform and raise awareness about household protection during the summer months. To achieve this, members of the police force and community police will distribute informative materials that offer crime prevention advice and personalized information to residents. These efforts will be intensified on June 20th, designated as the European Day for Domestic Burglary Prevention.
