Cyprus Officially Submits Bid for 2027 OSCE Chairmanship.

Nicosia: Cyprus has taken a significant step on the international stage by officially submitting its candidacy for the Chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) for the year 2027. This strategic move was announced by Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis, who highlighted the active involvement of Cyprus in international diplomatic efforts.

According to Cyprus News Agency, Minister of Foreign Affairs Constantinos Kombos is scheduled to travel to Malta on Wednesday to engage in the Ministerial Meeting of the OSCE. This meeting, set to take place in Valletta from December 4 to 6, will provide a platform for Cyprus to further its diplomatic agenda and strengthen its position within the OSCE.

Letymbiotis, speaking after a Cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace, confirmed the submission of Cyprus’s candidacy and emphasized the importance of this bid for the country’s international relations. He also mentioned that during his visit to Malta, Foreign Minister Kom
