Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released its forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus for the period from 6:00 AM on June 25, 2026, to 6:00 AM on June 26, 2026. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards and indicates that the region is currently experiencing seasonal low pressure, which is affecting weather patterns. According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast notes that the weather will remain mainly fine throughout the period. However, there is an expectation of locally increased low cloud cover during the early morning and overnight hours, which could lead to the development of local mist or fog. In such conditions, visibility is anticipated to be good, but could reduce to moderate or poor in mist, and become very poor in fog. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast's issuance was measured at 1008 hectopascals, and the sea surface temperature was recorded at 25°C.
