Cyprus Meteorology Forecasts Isolated Thunderstorms Over Southeastern Coast

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that a weak low-pressure system is currently affecting the region. The forecast, which covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, predicts mainly fine weather with some areas experiencing locally increased cloud cover. There is a noted risk of isolated showers and/or thunderstorms particularly over the southeastern coastal areas of Cyprus.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the report was recorded at 1004 hPa. The winds are expected to be measured on the Beaufort scale, while visibility is generally good but could become moderate to poor during showers. The sea surface temperature in the area is currently 21°C. The forecast includes no warnings, indicating that no severe weather conditions are expected during the specified period.
