Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, effective from 1800 on June 23, 2025, to 1800 on June 24, 2025. The forecast covers a radius of 8 kilometers seawards and anticipates mainly fine weather conditions.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the area is currently under the influence of seasonal low pressure, with an atmospheric pressure reading of 1007 hPa at the time of the forecast’s issue. While the weather is expected to be generally clear, there is a likelihood of locally increased low cloud coverage during the early morning hours. This may be accompanied by localized mist and fog patches, potentially impacting visibility.
Visibility is predicted to be generally good, although it may reduce to moderate or poor levels in areas affected by mist, and very poor in regions experiencing fog. The sea surface temperature is expected to be around 25°C, and no warnings have been issued for the forecast period.
