Nicosia:The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather for the period between 0600 on October 30, 2026, and 0600 on October 31, 2026. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast is recorded at 1013 hPa, indicating weak low pressure affecting the area. The weather is expected to be predominantly clear, although some areas may experience increased cloud coverage at times.

According to Cyprus News Agency, visibility across the region is expected to remain good, with the sea surface temperature recorded at 25°C. No warnings have been issued for the period.

The forecast details specific conditions for different coastal areas of Cyprus. On the west coast, winds in the morning are expected to be west to northwest at force 3 to 4, with the sea state ranging from slight to moderate, becoming slight by afternoon. At night, winds will shift to northwest to northeast at force 3, with the sea becoming smooth to slight.

For the south coast, morning winds will start from northwest to northeast at force 3, later shifting to southeast to southwest at force 3 to 4. The sea state will be slight throughout the day, becoming smooth to slight at night with northwest to north winds at force 3.

On the east coast, morning winds will be southwest to northwest at force 3, locally 3 to 4, with smooth to slight sea conditions expected throughout the day. At night, winds will change to west to northwest at force 3, maintaining a smooth to slight sea state.

The north coast will experience morning winds from southwest to northwest at force 3 to 4, soon shifting to southwest to west, with the sea state being slight to moderate, soon becoming slight. In the afternoon, winds will be southwest to west at force 3 to 4, locally reaching force 4 with a slight sea state. At night, southeast to southwest winds at force 3 will prevail, with the sea conditions remaining smooth to slight.
