Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued its latest forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, stating that high pressure will dominate the region, bringing mainly fine weather. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards from the coastline and is valid from 1800 hours on December 18, 2025, until 1800 hours on December 19, 2025.
According to Cyprus News Agency, local cloud coverage is expected to increase at times, particularly in the western and northern parts of the sea area. Despite some cloud presence, visibility over the sea is predicted to be good, providing favorable conditions for maritime activities.
The current atmospheric pressure in the area is measured at 1025hPa, and sea surface temperatures are recorded at 21°C. There are no warnings in effect for the forecast period, indicating stable weather conditions. Winds in the area are described using the Beaufort scale, a standard measure for estimating wind force at sea.
