Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released its forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, covering a radius of 8 kilometers from the coast. The forecast is valid from 0600 on July 12, 2025, to 0600 on July 13, 2025.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the region is currently experiencing seasonal low pressure, which is influencing the weather patterns. While the weather is expected to remain primarily fine throughout the period, increased low cloud cover along with local mist and fog is anticipated during the night and morning, particularly over the southern and eastern areas of Cyprus.
Visibility in the area is generally good; however, it may reduce to moderate or poor in mist and become very poor in fog. Despite these conditions, no warnings have been issued. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast was recorded at 1007 hPa, and the sea surface temperature is noted to be 26°C.
