Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released its forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, covering a distance of 8 kilometers seawards. The forecast spans a 24-hour period from the evening of October 9, 2025, to the evening of October 10, 2025.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast indicates that the area is currently under the influence of weak low pressure, contributing to mainly fine weather conditions. However, there will be periods of increased cloud coverage. While visibility is generally good, it may reduce to moderate or poor levels during showers.
The forecast specifies that the sea surface temperature in the region is 26°C. Despite the weak low-pressure conditions, there are no warnings issued for the area. The atmospheric pressure recorded at the time of the forecast’s release was 1013 hPa, and the wind conditions are measured on the Beaufort scale.
