According to Cyprus News Agency, in a post on 'X', Kombos wrote that he "stressed the imperative of ensuring a pathway to meaningful dialogue toward a comprehensive peace". The conversation highlighted the importance of sustained de-escalation throughout the region, emphasizing Lebanon, and the necessity for all sides to participate in these efforts.
Kombos further emphasized the importance of safeguarding freedom of navigation and protecting civilians, underscoring the need for these actions to be conducted in full respect of international law.
