The conclusion of a trilateral memorandum of understanding in the health sector between Cyprus, Egypt and Greece was discussed in a meeting today in Cairo between the Minister of Health, Michalis Damianou, and the Ministers of Health of Greece and Egypt, Adonis Georgiades and Khaled Abdel Ghaffar respectively.
According to a Ministry of Health statement, in statements after the meeting, Damianos noted that he had the opportunity to exchange views with his counterparts on various issues concerning the health sector, stressing that the processes for the conclusion of the tripartite memorandum are at an advanced stage.
Damianos, who is in Egypt to represent Cyprus at the World Congress on Health Policies, Population and Human Development, held a bilateral meeting with the Egyptian Minister of Health earlier today, during which they discussed expanding cooperation between the two countries in the health sector.
