New york: Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos held a first-ever trilateral meeting with his Greek counterpart Georgios Gerapetritis and Syria’s interim Foreign Minister Asaad Shaibani in New York. The meeting marks a significant step in diplomatic relations between the three countries.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Kombos shared on X that the discussions were centered on fostering pathways of cooperation and supporting Syria based on good-neighborly relations and international law. The meeting signifies an effort to strengthen ties and collaborate on mutual interests.
