Tokyo:Cyprus' Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos is traveling to Japan for a working visit aimed at enhancing bilateral relations between the two nations. He is scheduled to engage in significant discussions, including a meeting with Japan's Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the visit seeks to further develop cooperation in areas of shared interest between Cyprus and Japan. Kombos will meet Motegi on Monday in Tokyo, where their talks will focus on strengthening bilateral ties and addressing regional and international issues of mutual concern.
Additionally, Kombos is set to meet Seiichiro Murakami, Chair of the Japan-Cyprus Parliamentary Friendship Group in Japan's Diet, and visit Waseda University.
The itinerary also includes meetings with representatives of business organizations, other officials, and Cypriot nationals residing in Japan. Kombos is departing for Japan on Saturday.
