Nicosia: Weak low pressure is set to influence the weather conditions off the coast of Cyprus, with the Cyprus Department of Meteorology predicting partly cloudy skies accompanied by isolated showers and thunderstorms. The forecast covers the sea area extending 8 kilometers from the coastline for the period from 0600 on May 1, 2025, until 0600 on May 2, 2025.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the winds in the area will be measured using the Beaufort scale, with atmospheric pressure recorded at 1010 hPa at the time of the forecast’s issue. Visibility is expected to remain good overall but may reduce to moderate or poor during showers. The sea surface temperature is noted to be 19°C. Despite the expected unsettled weather conditions, no warnings have been issued by the department.
