Nicosia:Cyprus Finance Minister, Makis Keravnos, has expressed his gratitude towards Christine Lagarde for her leadership as she prepares to leave her role as President of the European Central Bank.

According to Cyprus News Agency, Keravnos praised Lagarde's stewardship during a challenging economic period, noting her efforts in maintaining monetary stability and enhancing the euro area's resilience, including that of Cyprus.

He further extended his appreciation for her contributions to Europe and Cyprus, wishing her success in her future endeavors.
