Nicosia: Cyprus is experiencing warm weather conditions today, with temperatures reaching highs of 29 degrees Celsius in several areas. The Department of Meteorology reported that the lowest recorded temperature was 11 degrees Celsius in Prodromos.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Nicosia (Athalassa) and Larnaka Airport both recorded high temperatures of 29 degrees Celsius, with respective lows of 15 and 18 degrees Celsius. Limassol’s New Port and Municipal Garden areas also experienced similar high temperatures, while Pafos Airport and Polis Pafos recorded a slightly cooler high of 26 degrees Celsius.
Humidity levels varied across the region, with the highest reported in Prodromos at 87%. In contrast, Nicosia and Larnaka Airport had humidity levels of 47% and 51%, respectively. Limassol’s New Port recorded 55% humidity, while Frenaros and Polis Pafos experienced 63% and 66% humidity levels, respectively.
The weather conditions indicate a pattern of warm temperatures across Cyprus, with moderate humidity levels, particularly in coastal and high-altitude areas.
