Nicosia: Cyprus witnessed a range of temperatures across its various regions today, as reported by the Department of Meteorology. The temperatures varied significantly from the highest recorded in Nicosia to the lowest in Prodromos.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Nicosia (Athalassa) experienced the highest temperature at 36 degrees Celsius, while its lowest was recorded at 18 degrees. Larnaka Airport noted a high of 34 degrees and a low of 20 degrees, with humidity reaching 45% at 1200 UTC. Limassol saw temperatures at the New Port reaching 32 degrees, with a low of 19 degrees, and humidity at 33%. In Limassol’s Municipal Garden, temperatures slightly varied with a high of 32.9 degrees and a low of 19.4 degrees.
Pafos Airport recorded a high of 31 degrees and a low of 21 degrees, with humidity at 53%. Frenaros experienced a high temperature of 33 degrees and a low of 19 degrees, while Prodromos observed the lowest temperature range with a high of 28 degrees and a low of 16 degrees, and humidity at 32%. In Polis Pafos, temperatures reached a high of 30 degrees and a low of 20 degrees, with the highest humidity level at 55%.
