Cyprus Experiences Significant Temperature Variations Across Regions

Nicosia: Cyprus witnessed notable temperature variations across its regions today, with the highest temperatures recorded in the inland areas. The Department of Meteorology provided detailed weather data for various stations across the island.

According to Cyprus News Agency, Nicosia (Athalassa) recorded the highest temperature at 38°C, while the lowest was 21°C. Humidity in Nicosia reached 40% at 1200 UTC. In contrast, Larnaka Airport experienced a high of 32°C and a low of 24°C, with humidity levels peaking at 65%.

Limassol (New Port) registered temperatures ranging from 22°C to 30°C, and the humidity was noted at 60%. Similarly, Pafos Airport reported temperatures between 22°C and 31°C, with a humidity level of 63%.

The Frenaros area recorded a temperature range of 23°C to 31°C, with humidity at 60%. In Prodromos, a cooler range was observed, with temperatures between 17°C and 26°C and a humidity level of 64%. Polis Pafos experienced a high temperature of 35°C and a low of 22°C, with the lowest humidity level of 40% among the stations reported.

These variations highlight the diverse climatic conditions across Cyprus, influencing daily activities and local weather-dependent sectors.
