Cyprus Experiences Mainly Fine Weather Amid Seasonal Low Pressure

Nicosia: Cyprus is set to experience mainly fine weather conditions influenced by seasonal low pressure, according to the Cyprus Department of Meteorology. The atmospheric pressure recorded at the time of the forecast was 1012hPa. The sea area surrounding Cyprus will remain calm with good visibility throughout the forecast period from 1800 on September 22, 2025, to 1800 on September 23, 2025.

According to Cyprus News Agency, no warnings have been issued for the forecast period, indicating stable weather conditions in the region. The sea surface temperature remains warm at 28°C, contributing to the overall pleasant weather. The forecast details specific weather patterns for different coastal areas, including the West, South, East, and North Coasts of Cyprus.

For the West Coast, nighttime winds are expected to shift from northwest to northeast at a force 3, maintaining a smooth to slight state of the sea. By morning, variable winds will transition to a north-to-northeast direction, reaching force 3 to 4 locally, but still resulting in a smooth to slight sea. Afternoon conditions will see winds from west to northwest, also maintaining a smooth to slight sea state.

The South Coast will experience northwest to north winds at force 3 during the night, with similar sea conditions. Morning winds are anticipated to be north to northeast, gradually shifting northeast to east at force 3 to 4, and by afternoon, northeast to east winds will transition to southwest to west at force 3, all maintaining smooth to slight sea conditions.

East Coast conditions will see west to northwest winds at force 3 at night, with offshore winds shifting northwest to north. The sea will remain smooth to slight, becoming slightly rougher locally by morning as winds shift northwest to northeast at force 3 to 4. Afternoon conditions will bring northeast to east winds at force 3, with slightly rougher seas near the coast.

The North Coast will experience northeast to southeast winds at force 3 during the night, with a smooth to slight sea. Morning conditions will see northeast to east winds, occasionally reaching force 3 to 4 locally, but still maintaining smooth to slight sea conditions. Afternoon winds from north to northeast will settle at force 3, keeping the sea state smooth to slight.
