Nicosia: Cyprus faced high temperatures across its major weather stations today, with the mercury reaching significant heights. The Department of Meteorology released the latest temperature data reflecting the conditions from 20:00 PC of the previous day until the present time.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Nicosia (Athalassa) recorded the highest temperature at 40°C, with the lowest temperature at 23°C, and a humidity level of 24% at 1200 UTC. Larnaka Airport experienced a high of 37°C and a low of 24°C, with humidity reaching 42%. In Limassol (New Port), temperatures ranged from a high of 34°C to a low of 23°C, accompanied by a humidity level of 58%.
Pafos Airport reported cooler conditions with a high of 31°C and a low of 24°C, and the highest humidity among the stations at 76%. Frenaros experienced temperatures between 35°C and 26°C, with 51% humidity. Meanwhile, Prodromos recorded the lowest temperatures among the stations, with a high of 29°C and a low of 21°C, and a humidity level of 44%. Polis Pafos reported a high of 36°C and a low of 25°C, with humidity at 59%.
These temperature readings highlight the varying weather conditions across Cyprus, with notable temperature differences between coastal and inland areas.
