Nicosia: Cyprus is witnessing a range of temperatures across various regions, as reported by the Department of Meteorology. The temperatures, recorded from 20:00 of the previous day until the time of the report, show significant variations between different locations on the island.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Nicosia (Athalassa) recorded a high temperature of 30°C and a low of 23°C, with humidity levels reaching 16% at 1200 UTC. Larnaka Airport experienced a slightly warmer high at 33°C and a similar low at 23°C, with humidity at 24%.
In Limassol, the New Port area saw temperatures ranging from 31°C to 20°C, accompanied by higher humidity levels at 42%. The Limassol Municipal Garden recorded a high of 29.9°C and a low of 22.8°C. Meanwhile, Pafos Airport reported temperatures between 30°C and 22°C, with humidity peaking at 46%.
Inland areas such as Frenaros recorded temperatures from 30°C to 23°C, with a humidity level of 39%. The mountainous region of Prodromos experienced cooler conditions, with temperatures ranging from 19°C to 12°C and a humidity level of 35%. Lastly, Polis Pafos registered a high of 33°C and a low of 21°C, with humidity at 27%.
