Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued its latest forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather conditions with intermittent medium and high cloud coverage. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards and is valid from 0600 on April 14, 2026, until 0600 on April 15, 2026.
According to Cyprus News Agency, a weak high-pressure system is currently influencing the region, resulting in stable atmospheric conditions. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast release was recorded at 1020 hPa. Visibility across the region is expected to remain good, with no warnings in effect for the forecast period.
The sea surface temperature is currently 18°C, and wind conditions will be measured using the Beaufort scale. The forecast reassures mariners and residents that while there will be increased cloud coverage at times, the overall weather will remain predominantly clear throughout the specified period.
