Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released its latest forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, covering a period from 1800 on 26th May 2025 until 1800 on 27th May 2025. The area of concern extends 8 kilometers seawards from the coastline.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast indicates that a weak low-pressure system is currently affecting the area. This meteorological condition is expected to result in mainly fine weather, although there will be periods with increased cloud cover. Additionally, dust particles will be present in the atmosphere, influencing air quality.
The forecast further details that visibility in the region will generally be good, though it may occasionally drop to moderate levels. Sea surface temperatures are reported to be at 22°C, providing a mild maritime climate. Despite the atmospheric changes, no warnings have been issued for the period in question.
