Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued its forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather conditions for the period from noon on June 26, 2025, to noon on June 27, 2025. A seasonal low-pressure system combined with a warm air mass is currently influencing the region, resulting in specific weather patterns that residents and visitors should be aware of.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards from the coast. During the day, the weather is expected to remain mostly clear; however, during night and early morning hours, increased low cloud cover, local mist, or fog patches may develop, particularly over the southern and eastern coasts. These conditions could lead to reduced visibility, ranging from moderate to poor in mist and becoming very poor in fog.
The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1006 hectopascals. Despite the warm air mass, the sea surface temperature is expected to remain at 25°C. Importantly, there are no weather warnings currently in effect for the specified period.
