Nicosia: The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) has announced details regarding the SelectUSA Investment Summit 2026, which is organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce. This prominent event for foreign direct investment will be held from May 3 to May 6, 2026, in National Harbor, Maryland, USA.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the SelectUSA Investment Summit serves as a significant platform for international companies aiming to establish or expand their presence in the U.S. market. The event will bring together representatives from international businesses, U.S. federal and state authorities, and economic development organizations (EDOs) across the country. This collaboration aims to streamline processes related to company establishment, expansion, staffing, and growth within the United States.
Participants in the Summit will have the chance to meet representatives from all U.S. states and territories, providing a comprehensive overview in a centralized setting. They will also have the opportunity to engage directly with economic development organizations, investors, accelerators, and incubators. Expert guidance on critical areas such as visas, site selection, incentives, financing, and regulatory frameworks will be available. High-level sessions will feature speakers from the White House, U.S. Cabinet, state governors, and global CEOs, offering valuable insights into investing in the U.S. market.
The Summit has a proven track record, having facilitated over USD 256 billion in new investments and supported the creation of more than 130,000 jobs in the United States to date.
Additionally, the SelectUSA Tech Program will run concurrently with the Summit. This program specifically targets international technology startups developing innovative products or services, providing tailored support for U.S. expansion. Participants will gain access to the U.S. startup ecosystem and have the chance to compete in a pitching competition.
Participation at the Summit requires a vetting and approval process conducted by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Applications for the SelectUSA Investment Summit 2026 are currently open, and interested parties can apply through the official website.
