Nicosia:The Cabinet has approved a new de minimis aid scheme to support Cypriot businesses participating in five international trade fairs in the services sector, including technology. The scheme involves a national pavilion organized by the Ministry of Commerce and Energy.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the aid provided can reach up to £13,450 per beneficiary per exhibition. This financial support will cover costs such as renting exhibition space, constructing and equipping stands, participation fees, and the installation and consumption of electricity and water. Additionally, expenses for interpreting services at the stands are included.
The international exhibitions are set to focus on various sectors such as technology and innovation, investment fund management, aircraft maintenance, and shipping.
