Cyprus Braces for Seasonal Low Pressure Impact on Sea

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that seasonal low pressure is currently affecting the region. The forecast, which covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, predicts mainly fine weather conditions for the period from 1200 on July 7, 2025, until 1200 on July 8, 2025.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s issuance was recorded at 1006 hPa. Despite the impact of the seasonal low pressure, visibility in the area is expected to remain good, with no warnings issued. The sea surface temperature is projected to be 26°C, providing favorable conditions for maritime activities.

The winds in the area are measured on the Beaufort scale, although specific details on wind intensity were not disclosed in the report. Residents and visitors to the region can expect stable weather conditions during this period, as indicated by the absence of any weather warnings.
