Nicosia: Cyprus’ Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos held a telephone conversation on Tuesday with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, during which they reaffirmed ‘the solid partnership’ between the two countries.
According to Cyprus News Agency, in a post on X, Cyprus’ Foreign Ministry stated that Kombos and Abdelatty engaged in a ‘substantive discussion’ focusing on key bilateral and regional priorities. They emphasized the reaffirmation of ‘the solid partnership’ between Cyprus and Egypt and highlighted the importance of continued close coordination. This dialogue comes ahead of Cyprus’ Presidency of the Council of the EU, marking a significant milestone in the relationship between the two nations.
