CY-TRUST Project to Enhance Cybersecurity in Cyprus with Upcoming Event

Nicosia: The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) has announced an upcoming event for the CY-TRUST project, a significant initiative designed to enhance cybersecurity measures in Cyprus. The event is set to take place at the Digital Security Authority Offices, ICT Academy in Nicosia, on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 09:00 to 14:00. The primary focus will be on shifting from merely informing and building trust to implementing practical cybersecurity solutions in real-world environments.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the event aims to demonstrate how results from European projects can be applied operationally. It will feature insights from the CY-TRUST, SOC4SME, NGSOC, and SecAwarenessTruss projects. These projects cover a comprehensive range of cybersecurity aspects, from building trust and informing stakeholders to operating advanced Security Operations Centres (SOCs) and providing accessible solutions for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).

Participants will benefit from gaining practical knowledge of modern cybersecurity approaches and tools. They will also have the chance to engage in discussions with experts and representatives from the ecosystem about needs and usage scenarios. Additionally, attendees will be able to identify opportunities for collaboration, piloting, and deploying future solutions.

The CY-TRUST project is coordinated by the Digital Security Authority in collaboration with CCCI and various national and international bodies. The event is free to attend, but registration is mandatory, and participants must confirm their attendance by January 20, 2026.
