Nicosia: The Cyprus Meteorological Service has issued a new yellow warning for thunderstorms, which will be in effect from 0500 Sunday morning until 1800.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast predicts isolated heavy thunderstorms to impact the island at various times, initially starting in the west and gradually affecting other areas. In regions experiencing thunderstorms, hail is anticipated, and winds are expected to become variable and strengthen. The precipitation rate in the storm may range between 35 and 55 millimeters per hour.
