Nicosia: The Construction Materials Price Index has shown an increase of 1.28% during the period from January to November 2025, when compared to the same timeframe in 2024.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the index reached 118.63 points in November 2025, using 2021 as the base year, which corresponds to a decrease of 0.34% compared to the preceding month. On an annual comparison with November 2024, the index experienced a rise of 1.16%.
In terms of product categories, there were increases in minerals, which went up by 3.65%, mineral products by 3.01%, and wood products along with insulation materials, chemicals, and plastics by 1.44%. Conversely, there were reductions in electromechanical items, which decreased by 1.61%, and metal products, which fell by 0.99%.
