Nicosia: The Price Index of Construction Materials for September 2025 reached 118.96 units (base year 2021=100), marking an increase of 1.44%. This data was published by the Statistical Service on Monday, highlighting fluctuations in various commodity categories.
According to Cyprus News Agency, notable increases were seen in minerals (3.62%), mineral products (3.30%), and products of wood, insulation materials, chemicals, and plastics (1.05%). Electromechanical products experienced a slight rise of 0.19%. However, a decline was observed in metallic products, which fell by 0.59%.
In comparison to the previous month, the index experienced a marginal decrease of 0.08%. Over the longer term, from January to September 2025, the index increased by 1.26% compared to the same period in 2024.
