Commission Ready to Collaborate with Cypriot Presidency for Tangible Outcomes, States Minzatu

Brussels: The European Commission is prepared to collaborate extensively with the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU to achieve tangible outcomes for the populace, stated Roxana M®nzatu, the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs, and Preparedness.

According to Cyprus News Agency, M®nzatu shared on 'X' that she convened a meeting on Tuesday with Clea Papaellina, the Cypriot Deputy Minister of Social Welfare. Their discussions centered on addressing poverty and enhancing child wellbeing within the framework of the EU's comprehensive anti-poverty strategy. They also focused on strengthening the Child Guarantee, a priority that M®nzatu aims to accomplish within the year.

M®nzatu emphasized the Commission's readiness to work closely with the Cypriot Presidency to deliver meaningful results that positively impact people's lives.
