CYPRUS: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather conditions for the period from 1200 on November 6, 2024, to 1200 on November 7, 2024. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards from the coast.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1021 hPa, indicating the presence of weak high pressure in the region. As a result, the weather is expected to remain calm with good visibility throughout the forecast period. The sea surface temperature is reported to be 24°C, adding to the favorable conditions for maritime activities.
The department has not issued any warnings, signaling a period of stable weather for the area. Winds are measured using the Beaufort scale, and local times are applied to the forecast. Overall, residents and maritime operators can expect a peaceful interval with no significant weather disturbances anticipated.
