ANKARA: A British national was detained Sunday for attempting to scale the Eiffel Tower on the last day of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. French police intercepted the man, 33, as he was on his way up the iconic structure and subsequently arrested him, according to the local media. The tower was briefly cordoned off after the bare-chested climber was spotted climbing up.
