Nicosia: President of the House of Representatives, Annita Demetriou, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Cyprus, Mohamed Andallah Awad Al-Nahdi.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the meeting focused on the positive state of relations and the significant enhancement of cooperation between Cyprus and Oman.
Both parties expressed their intention to continue and further strengthen the dialogue and cooperation between the two parliaments at various levels. The discussions highlighted the commitment to developing bilateral ties.
Additionally, House President Demetriou briefed the Omani Ambassador on the parliamentary dimension of the Cyprus EU Presidency, which is set to commence on January 1st, indicating the strategic priorities and potential avenues for collaboration during this period.
