New york: Cyprus’ Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos participated on Monday, in the High-Level Session of the UN General Assembly, in New York, marking the 80th anniversary of the Organization’s establishment.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Kombos shared his reflections on the milestone event via a post on X, emphasizing the importance of this “solemn commemorative event” for the United Nations. He highlighted the opportunity to reflect on past achievements and the path forward towards a more inclusive and effective multilateral system. He concluded his message with a call for unity, stating, “‘Better together’ for a better future for the generations to come.”
