Nicosia: Total beer deliveries from breweries in Cyprus experienced a decrease of 2.7% in June 2026 compared to June 2025, primarily driven by a sharp decline in exports of 38.3%.
According to Cyprus News Agency, data released by the Statistical Service reveals that total beer deliveries, which include both domestic market distribution and exports, amounted to 4,716,070 litres in June 2026. This reflects a reduction from the 4,846,927 litres delivered in June 2025.
In terms of the domestic market, beer deliveries saw a slight decline of 0.8% year-on-year in June 2026, reaching 4,564,749 litres. This slight decrease contrasts with the more substantial drop in beer exports from Cypriot breweries, which fell significantly by 38.3%, down to 151,321 litres from 245,087 litres in June 2025.
Despite the annual decline, there was a positive note when compared to the previous month. Total beer deliveries in June 2026 increased by 7.4%, equivalent to 326,421 litres, compared to the preceding month.
