Beer Deliveries in Cyprus Drop 2.3% in August 2026, Exports See 50.8% Increase

Nicosia: Total beer deliveries in Cyprus, including the domestic market and exports, fell by 2.3% in August 2026 compared with August 2025, according to data released by the Statistical Service on Wednesday. Despite the overall decline, beer exports surged by 50.8%.

According to Cyprus News Agency, 4.41 million litres of beer were delivered in August 2026, compared with 4.51 million litres in August 2025, representing a 2.3% decrease. Beer deliveries to the domestic market fell by 3.8% year-on-year, declining to 4,223,793 litres.

At the same time, beer exports recorded a sharp increase of 50.8% in August 2026, reaching 192,313 litres, compared with 127,522 litres in August 2025. Compared with July 2026, total beer deliveries fell by 22%.
