Nicosia: Beer deliveries in April 2026 decreased by 8.9%, according to data published by the Statistical Service on Thursday. Specifically, 3.4 million liters of beer were delivered in April, compared to 3.7 million liters in April 2025, recording a decrease of 8.9%.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the decline in beer deliveries was primarily driven by a significant reduction in exports. While the domestic market experienced a 3.3% decrease in deliveries compared to last year, beer exports saw a substantial decline of 57%.
Despite the annual decrease, there was a notable rise in beer deliveries when compared to the previous month, with a 45% increase observed. This suggests a potential recovery or seasonal fluctuation in beer consumption or distribution patterns.
