Nicosia: Average monthly earnings in Cyprus increased by 5% in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, according to preliminary data released by the Statistical Service of Cyprus.
According to Cyprus News Agency, on a quarterly basis, and after adjusting for seasonal fluctuations, earnings rose by 1.2% in Q4 2024 compared to the previous quarter.
Specifically, the average monthly earnings reached £2,813 in the final quarter of 2024, up from £2,680 in Q4 2023. For men, average earnings stood at £2,979, while for women, the figure was £2,606.
Seasonally adjusted data showed that average monthly earnings amounted to £2,532 in Q4 2024, compared to £2,409 in the corresponding period of the previous year. Adjusted average earnings for men reached £2,712, while for women they were £2,310.
