Nicosia: Rainfall recorded during just the first seven days of April has already exceeded the monthly average, reaching 111% of seasonal levels.
According to Cyprus News Agency, total average rainfall from April 1 until 9:00 a.m. on April 7 amounted to 33.2 millimetres, compared to 29.9 millimetres, which is the normal rainfall for the entire month.
It is noted that, of the 17 areas covered in the Department's report, only five did not exceed 100% of normal rainfall for April.
