Nicosia: The Industrial Turnover Index experienced a 4.3% increase in February 2025 in comparison to February 2024, climbing to 130.4 units with a base year of 2021 set at 100.
According to Cyprus News Agency, during the period from January to February 2025, the index saw a rise of 5.6% when compared to the same timeframe in the previous year.
As detailed in the announcement, the manufacturing sector reached 132.6 units in February 2025, marking a 4.5% increase from February 2024. Additionally, there were notable increases in the mining and quarrying sectors by 11.9% and in electricity supply by 4.3%. Conversely, a decline was observed in the water supply and materials recovery sector, which fell by 4.0%.
