ISTANBUL: Seven people died in a coal mine accident in southwestern China on Wednesday, local emergency management authorities said. Eight workers were trapped during an air shaft sealing operation in the coal mine in the Wutongqiao district of Leshan city, Sichuan province. Search and rescue personnel confirmed the deaths of seven people, with one person missing. The cause of the accident is being investigated. Source: Anadolu Agency
