ANKARA: Three people were killed when their single-engine plane crashed onto a highway east of Paris on Sunday. According to local media, the plane took off from an airport near the capital and struck a high-voltage power line, causing it to plummet onto a highway in the Ile-de-France region. The three occupants of the small aircraft were killed, but no vehicles on the highway were affected. Both directions of the A4 highway were closed due to the crash.
