Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that seasonal low pressure is currently influencing the region. The forecast, covering a period from midday on August 31, 2025, to midday on September 1, 2025, predicts mainly fine weather conditions within an area extending 8 kilometers seawards.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1011 hectopascals (hPa). Winds in the forecast area are measured using the Beaufort scale, and the department reports that visibility remains good.

The sea surface temperature is noted at 29°C, with no warnings issued for the forecast period. The meteorology department’s update provides essential information for maritime activities and ensures safety and preparedness for those navigating the waters around Cyprus.
