The Meteorology Department issued on Friday a yellow warning for extreme high temperature valid from 30/7/2021 at 2100 until 1700 on the 31/7/2021.
It says that overnight the minimum temperature will fall to around 27 degrees inland and to around 25 locally over the western and northern coastal areas.
On Saturday the maximum temperature will rise to around 41 degrees inland and to around 33 over Troodos highest peaks.
